THE URBAN CYCLING BOOM IN MADRID
Madrid has filled up with bikes. Not just because of sustainability or fashion: getting around the city by bike means freedom, exercise and good vibes. More and more people are choosing to rediscover their city on two wheels, and the best part is that you don't need to be an expert cyclist to enjoy it. In this guide, we'll show you the best routes to start cycling without the drama… and in style.
HOW TO STAY COMFORTABLE AND STYLISH
WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE A PROFESSIONAL CYCLIST
SPOILER: you don't need tight cycling jerseys or aerodynamic racing helmets to enjoy a great ride. What you do need is clothing that moves with you, that doesn't dig in where it shouldn't and that also makes you feel good.
WHAT TO WEAR?
KEY PIECES FOR CYCLING WITH FLOW
- · Stretchy fabrics that adapt to your body.
· A cut that allows freedom of movement without making you look like you're heading to the gym.
· Functional pockets (yes, for carrying your phone, keys or that lifesaving lip gloss).
· Support bands so you don't have to readjust every few pedal strokes.
The cycling shorts, especially in a bermuda-length legging style, are ideal for keeping you cool and comfortable without compromising on style. Pair them with a sports top with a front zip and the look is complete: practical, breathable and with that modern touch that's always welcome.
