Types of panties and what they’re for: which should you choose?

It’s the classic everyday brief: it covers almost the entire bottom and flatters every body shape. These briefs are usually made from microfibre or cotton, but there are many different styles, including tulle or lace briefs.
Tip: if you don’t like them showing through your clothes, don’t wear them with tight-fitting clothes ;)

The culotte is similar to a classic brief but is wider at the hips. This style usually makes your bum look more shapely and pert. Culottes are particularly flattering on women with wider hips because they highlight the natural shape of their body.

Tip: culottes are the perfect complement to skirts or dresses, giving you peace of mind in case your dress happens to ride up—you won't show anything!

Brazilian briefs are the style halfway between classic briefs and thongs. They're the sexiest version! The hips are thick and wide, but gradually narrow as they curve towards the buttocks. The Brazilian brief can be paired with a fitted dress or mini skirts.

The thong is the most minimal style, perfect for staying invisible under your clothes and enhancing the natural shape of your bum. It provides the same coverage as a regular brief at the front, but leaves the buttocks uncovered at the back. Some thongs have a wider back strap, while others are just a string—discover all the types of thong available. You'll be surprised!

Tip: the thong is the best option under tight-fitting clothes such as skinny jeans or leggings.

This is the ideal style for women who feel more comfortable in high-waisted briefs or love a vintage touch. It is undoubtedly the most covering style, as it fully embraces the buttocks and reaches up to the navel. Although it does not have the shaping briefs’ elastic, it does a great job of flattering your figure.

Tip: if you don’t want it to show above your trousers or skirts, don’t wear it with low-rise garments.
